There are two kidney-shaped swimming pools within the private grounds of the complex and a much smaller paddling pool for the very young. The main pool is heated during winter months. A full time life-guard is there to help guests and to supervise the poolside areas.
A large number of the apartments are owned and occupied by English residents who have found the spacious accommodation ideal for a life in the Tenerife sun. The site is maintained to the highest standards and has some of the best kept private gardens in Los Cristianos, ideal as quiet rest areas or to simply enjoy as you stroll through the complex.
There are two very well stocked supermarkets close to the complex and several newly opened bars and restaurants. There are also a wide variety of restaurants to choose from within Los Cristianos town or along its attractive harbour promenade and there's always the Royal Palm's very own Rosie’s Cantina if you prefer a night in. Rosie’s is also very popular with the locals, always a good sign.
A large taxi rank is located adjacent to the complex and the local central bus station can be found in Los Cristianos town. The Royal Palm area is also a regular pick-up point for a variety of companies that offer island tours, trips to Loro Parque, aqua park and many other popular tourist attractions.
